Popular Jamaican media personality and former reality TV star, Amelia ‘Milk’ Sewell has admitted that she was once the ‘side chick’ of dancehall legend, Bounty Killer and was with him while the entertainer was with fellow deejay, D’Angel.
On Saturday, Sewell, known for her stints on CVM’s Hit List, Teacher’s Pet and Tastee Talent Trail, made the admission on the Television Jamaica (TVJ) based talk show, the Saudicka Diaram Show. According to her, she was one of many girls Bounty was dating at the time when he was with D’Angel and was with the ‘Grung Gaad’ for seven years.
“My major competition at the time was Angel. I mean her and I are friends now but at the time both of us knew about each other,” Sewell said. “Angel was the wife to me but I think there was somebody ahead of Angel also.”
Though she was not the main girl in Bounty’s life, she said her needs were never ignored by the deejay and always made herself a hub of comfort for him.
“Me as a side chick, I made sure that I’m the comfort zone because the situation at home with the wife is always some kind of tumultuous kind of thing, so I always try to keep my atmosphere and my vibe really cool because at the end of the day, if he wants comfort zone, the first person he is gonna think of is me,” she explained.
“I don’t get involved in the drama. I’m not going to pick up my phone and call wife and mek she know wah gwaan. I’m not going to cause a scene and I can’t cause a scene, being a side chick, being Milk either. I have to keep myself circumspect.”
Milk insists she has long moved on from that ‘side chick’ life because she wanted someone for herself.
