International recording artiste, Alty B is the epitome of a ladies man but refuses to be taken for a fool; insisting he is no ‘Gal Clown’ on the hot new project, the Babashop Riddim.
The Greater Toronto Area based entertainer has been spreading his wings with the creation of his new label, Gaga Productions – named after his late father and GT International sound system head, Altiman ‘Gaga’ Grason – who produced the Babashop Riddim, its debut compilation. Alty B stands out on this star-studded showcase with Gal Clown; stating that ‘some bwoy a real gal clown, you nuh see dat? Gal a beat dem wid all draws, couldn’t me dat, tell him come in before 10, a couldn’t we dat, and as him get di paycheck, a she him haffi gi dat.’
The ‘King’s son from Kingston’ shows his steady growth with a sharp lyrical flow as he stamps his authority as a true ‘gyallis’ and knows how to hold his own with dealing with any woman he comes across. Assertive, yet playful, it’s a song that many men out there can relate to – both the men who know how to stand on their own two and those who sit and let their women rule them.
Mixed by Smokeshop Productions, Gal Clown is a sure-fire hit on a project that features numerous bangers, including She Tell Me, by Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall winner, Devin Di Dakta, Superstar by promising teenage starlet, Wayne J, Red Flag from acclaimed veteran deejay, Delly Ranx and many more.
The Babashop Riddim is available on all major digital music platforms, including iTunes on May 20th . With this single and a label that’s gaining clout and respect in its early going, Alty B is certain to take the music world by storm in 2016 and beyond, representing the 905 and 876 in style.
