Various members from the  groups Alliance and Portmore Empire have voiced songs attacking each other. Vybz Kartel’s When Since on Foxx’s ‘Life After Death’ rhythm has sparked much discussion since its release last week . In the very explicit song, Vybz Kartel holds nothing back as he attacks Bling Dawg , Mavado, Wayne Marshall,  and Bounty Killer. He even  went to the extreme stating that at least two of the members of the Alliance participate in oral sex.

Bling Dawg, has responded to “When Since”, saying that Vybz Kartel is hooked on ecstasy. In his song, he said: “You a di worse deejay ’cause yuh a repeat rhyme mediocre arguments caan phase elite line your style beneath mine.”

Alliance leader Bounty Killer, however, said his crew members will not be spending time answering the disses from the Portmore Empire. “Kartel a carry belly fi DASECA ’cause him cannot voice fi dem. Alliance nah answer nobody right yah now. Kartel a try create a likkle animosity. A nuh every time somebody seh ‘A’ we ago answer,” says Bounty Killer . “Mi tell Mavado seh low it , yuh see how long Mavado nuh do no gun song. Him sing Again and Again, den him sing High Unda.”

Bounty Killer does not have a song dissing the Portmore Empire, however he had more to say.”From a guy ago sing and tell my friend about him madda, me ago tek it personal, a bare sucking, sucking him (Kartel) a sing bout because he is a freak,” Bounty Killer said.

In addition to Kartel’s lyrical assault, another Empire member, Lisa Hype, recently did a song, Dat Dem Gone To, in which she made reference to DASECA questioning  group’s sexuality in the song when she deejays: “Ah straight people mi roll wid/That’s why mi link Don and not DASECA.” Lisa Hype said that there is another song on the way for the Alliance called Click Click Boom.” Mi haffi mek dem know seh mi have the talent fi kill even a man,” Lisa Hype said.

Lisa Hype and Vybz Kartel are not the only ones voicing songs. Portmore Empire’s  Blak Ryno have also voiced songs as part of attack. Bounty Killer had quite a lot to say, especially about Blak Ryno.”All di likkle one weh name Blak Ryno, guh call my name inna song, any weh him sing dat again, a box out teeth  a gwaan. How him a guh talk seh Killa nuh buss nobody … a who yuh fadda  sey buss him? Di way how dem yute yah ungrateful dem cyan speak truth … bout him a stinga, him a sting wid tongue. We have sum’n weh wi really sting,” Bounty Killer said.

The Alliance should change its name to “Just Movado”. Personally by far, even better than Movada, Busy Signal a lead. Its a shame that Busy Signal naah get the respect inna dancehall and the Alliance that he deserves. He is by far the only one in the Alliance that come UNIQUE with his songs (I.E. Most recently “Picante” and rest of him previous and including him 2009 songs).

YES I agree jackie I love Busy too, not for which group he is representing though. This is directed to the ignorant bloggers, Why are you defending artists that are not making good music? Now there was a time wen I loved going out because I knew I could dance the whole night! Now because of this damn Gaza Vs. Alliance stupidness most nights end early over fighting or I leave early because I cant dance and enjoy myself to “suck yuh mumma” dis and “yuh lick p***y” dat. On top of all of it these DJ’s are hypocrites! How can you say Jamaica needs to unite and uplift itself when these artists are the same one adding to the violence and crime. DISGUSTING! And who a follow di hype you should be ashamed

  9. THIS GAZA VS. GULLY WAR A FOOLISHNESS…. THEY BOTH MAKE GOOD MUSIC AT TIMES…. KARTEL HAS TO RESPECT BOUNTY BECAUSE A HIM BUSS HIM, AND MAVADO HAVE TO RESPECT KARTEL CAUSE A HIM WRITE THE SONGS THAT LED HIM TO WHERE HE IS NOW SO EITHER WAY U LOOK AT IT THEY HELPED EACH OTHER OUT. THATS HOW THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND JAMAICA AS A WHOLE NEEDS TO BE LIKE THE OLD DAYS NEIGHBORS HELPING EACH OTHER BECAUSE THIS WAR TING NOT MAKIN MONEY, MAKE SOME GOOD DANCING TUNES SO WE CAN PARTY AND POP CHAMPAGNE….
