Nearly five years after serving time in a United States federal prison, dancehall/reggae superstar, Busy Signal is back in the U.S. following the reinstatement of his visa.
Busy landed in New York Friday morning and is expected to be in the States for a few days before heading to Europe at the end of the month for a tour.
“Fresh From Yard!!!! THANKS BE TO GOD…. THANKS TO THE U.S.A. Fresh From Yard AFTER 15 LONG YEARS!!!” the entertainer posted on his Instagram page.
He also posted video of himself in the Bronx and thanked all his fans and friends for their support.
It’s a full circle moment for the singjay after being extradited to the country in 2012 after being charged with and convicted of absconding bail regarding a 2002 drug case.
He was released in November 2012 and has found a second wind in his career, including his smash hit Watch Out For This (Bumaye) alongside Major Lazer.
