Reggae superstar, Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley will be opening a new weed dispensary named after his upcoming studio album, ‘Stony Hill’ in Denver, Colorado on Thursday.
The dispensary will include and feature a full line of cannibis-based retail products, including edibles, various strains and extracts.
In an interview with Billboard Magazine, Marley said, “I didn’t know in my lifetime I’d be opening a dispensary. We’ve always been advocates of legalizing marijuana and we always had the hope in our lifetime that we’d be involved in something like this, but I didn’t predict this would happen.”
“Stony Hill is a place in Jamaica I grew up so it has a lot of significance,” he added.
Marley says he plans to unveil other cannibis related ventures, but refused to elaborate on them.
His Stony Hill album is expected to be released in 2017
