In true Dancehall fashion, recording artiste Hot Digit has released his single, ‘Rich and Boasy’ coinciding with Jamaica’s culture of partying, fashion and lifestyle, making it a track that appeals to multiple demographics.
Engineered by Billboard producer Darren Sortie of Sart Out Records in conjunction with Out Deh At Dem Records, the track made its way to digital streaming platforms a month ago and is already being playlisted by several musical curators worldwide.
With the track already picking up momentum across major digital streaming platforms, Hot Digit gives an insight into his marketing strategy; ‘Lifestyle and fun were two of the main factors used to determine what direction to take when the beat was sent to me. It’s a catchy song but it also sends a message that through hardwork and determination anyone is capable of being able to live a comfortable life most aspire to achieve. It’s a track that will still stand firm even after the summer wave has passed because our culture is always marketing lifestyle.”
To further add to the traction of the track, Hot Digit is currently gearing up for shows in Florida and Panama City where he will sway audiences by delivering high energy performances.
The artiste, who describes himself as being a self assured individual, explains how he plans to effectively channel his personal characteristic into his craft; “I live each day with the mindset that all goals are attainable, it only takes the required work to achieve them. And being confident about who I am, I stand steadfast on a path to accomplish my goals with this mantra. A part of my hunger for success comes from my humble beginnings in Moores, Clarendon, a community I hope to one day put on a world scale”
Previously released music from Hot Digit includes “Wild and Rude” and “Appetite”, another SartOut Records produced track in collaboration with Dre Barnes Beatz and Out Deh At Dem Records.
