Reggae/Dancehall singer and former Portmore Empire standout, Jah Vinci is soon set to unveil his debut album, Ghetto Born, according to reports Tuesday.
The 13-track album features collaborations with the ‘King of the Dancehall’ Beenie Man on Don of all Dons as well as Reggae legend, Junior Reid on Unsolved Mystery. Ghetto Born mostly takes Reggae, Dancehall and crossover sounds, with songs speaking on societal issues as well as the trials and tribulations of inner-city life. A video for another single off the album, We Nuh Trust Dem will be shot in the coming weeks.
No official release date for Ghetto Born has been set, although it is expected to be unveiled in July. The album will be available on iTunes and all other digital outlets upon release.
Meanwhile, Jah Vinci recently toured the African country of Gambia and will be touring the Caribbean, Japan and Europe in the coming months.
