The teenage son of dancehall superstar, Mavado is reportedly recovering in hospital from a gunshot wound he suffered during an incident a week and a half ago in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew.
Investigators from the St. Andrew North police division are still gathering facts regarding the circumstances that led up to the shooting. A formal police report has yet to be filed as Mavado’s son continues to receive treatment.
He is one of two sons the ‘Gully Gaad’ has. The 35-year-old singjay currently lives in the United States with his wife, Monique Alexander.
Mavado has yet to comment on the incident.
