Dancehall star, Merciless is on the comeback trail after an extended absence from the music scene and is set to unveil his new studio album, Warhead Is Back in February.

The 12-track compilation features songs such as Joy to the World, Classroom, Chocolate High, and Weed Is Mine. It also features production from the likes of Daddy Lizard, Frenz for Real Records, and Lonesome Records.

Merciless, regarded as one of the best clash artistes of all time, made a return to the stage as he took on old foe, Ninja Man in a lyrical showdown at Tribute to Dancehall on December 24, 2016. Merciless was at his sharpest, out duelling ‘Don Gorgon’ at the show as he did at Sting 2000.

The artiste, whose real name is Leonard Bartley is known for hits such as Lend Out Mi Mercy, Gal Dem Gizzada, Mr Whoodini and Mama Cooking.

Along with his catalogue of hits, Merciless is known for his clashes with several dancehall stars at Sting such as Bounty Killer and Beenie Man (who he also beat at Sting 2000) as well as Kiprich.
