Popular producer, Tarik ‘Rvssian’ Johnston has been certified platinum for the second time in his career as his feature on American rapper, Kevin Gates‘ platinum-selling debut album, Islah landed him the honour.
Rvssian produced the single, ‘The Truth’ on Gates’ album, which was released this past January.
Islah was released via the independent Bread Winners’ Association in collaboration with Atlantic Records and was officially certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in September.
Rvssian previously scored platinum status in 2014 for his production of the reggaeton single, Passion Whine by Farruko and Sean Paul.
He is currently promoting the single, Privado which features Farruko, Konshens, Arcangel and Nicky Jam.
