With the release of “Quite Alive” picking up traction, 300Savage has been on the radar as one of the top Montego Bay artistes to look out for.
‘Quite Alive’ is produced by his team at Empress Ann Recordz and released with an official video to complement.
The track which embodies the ‘hustler’ mentality of the culture also adds to the atmosphere of fun in Dancehall and has been making rounds on creator platforms.
Speaking with 300Savage he shares that his career path is credited to his upbringing and vows to use his craft to add to Dancehall’s vast plethora of global hits.
300Savage shares, “ I discovered music while growing up because I used to dance and freestyle while going to school. As I got older, my older brother, Segman300, implored me to record professionally and since he described me as a lyrical savage, thats how I got my stage name. My brother ended up passing and it impacted several areas of my life including having access to record until I connected with Young Starz Entertainment, who gave me my first official release along with a music video. I then linked with Young Tree, M4 and Gothic and with the same goal in mind, each person contributed and Young Tree was the one who began handling the recording sessions on this new path”
He continues by sharing how he managed to ink an international deal; “A friend by the name of Masika introduced me to Empress Ann to be a part of her talent showcase and after realizing that this could be the opportunity my friends and I had always hoped for, I brought Gothic and M4 and after we performed she was interested in signing us on the spot because she could hear the passion in each line. My goal from here on out is to continue adding to the culture in a positive way ”
Since inking his management deal, 300savage has had the opportunity to perform at events such as; Jungle Juvert, The Sumfest Street Dance, The Mobay Jerk Festival, among other major events.
While fervently promoting his latest release, 300Savage is currently gearing up to drop his collaboration with Gothic titled, ‘Crawsis’, slated to hit stores in coming weeks.
