Toronto’s spice hooks up with a seasoned veteran to produce a hot number you can count on to be a summer smash.

Versatile songstress, Alicia Cinnamon and multi-dimensional recording artiste, Dudsymil, offer up a true throwback with their combination single, No Surrender. The Black Orchid Music-produced track possesses a vibe reminiscent of Maxi Priest as the duo sings about the sacrifices and lengths one must go to in order to find and cherish true love.

The Northern Queen delivers a crowning performance; as she declares she’s ‘not gonna be your toy’ and has time for no games while playing expertly on the beat. The man dubbed the Energymil ignites the song as he tells Alicia ‘don’t gi nuh man no all and den him gi yuh back a fraction’ as he gives his all with powerful lyrics and an electric sound adding the spark such a deep and emotional song needs.

With pulsating instrumentals that keep you grooving from intro to outro, No Surrender thrusts Alicia Cinnamon into a spotlight she deserves to shine in. Clean vocals and a convincing tone makes for a great complement with Dudsymil’s suave yet edgy moniker, adding strong balance to a hit in the making.

The song has already become a fixture on the airwaves; premiered by DJ Chuck on Legacy Radio on April 6 while also rotated on Vibe 105.5 FM thanks to DJ Wiz, who’s prepared to spread his Wizology at a party near you this summer.

Known for hits such as Liar’s Game, this new joint proves Alicia is the truth in the Canadian dancehall/reggae scene. Meanwhile, Dudsymil’s mainstream presence continues to gather steam thanks to his feature on the Toronto Maple Leafs anthem, Go Leafs Go! (alongside Azeem Haq), as well as Dangerous Girl, produced by Fizzle Productions.

Don’t quit on No Surrender because this effort is bound for success!
