Blak Diamon’s hit Bang Bang – It’s A Grunda Grundgyhas been banging the airwaves locally and overseas in recent times.
Bang Bang produced by powerhouse label, UIM Records, is now a staple on the play list of many disc jockeys.
With a psychology degree from the prestigiousUniversity of Western Ontario in Canada, Shawn Myrie, known by the stage name, Blak Diamon, is known for hit songs: In The Streets, Love Triangle, We Nuh Play among others. A diamond is a precious stone, the hardest naturally occurring substance, with that said, Blak Diamon is definitely here in the music world to stay.
In a press release sent to media, Blak Diamon’s manager, Tanya Thelwell of UIM announced, “Blak Diamon is an artiste which is versatile and extremely talented, his latest single BANG BANG – It’s A Grunda Grundgy which is an old school flow is a sure heavy hitter among fans locally and overseas.”
Blak Diamon is gearing up to shoot videos for tracks: Love Triangle and BANG BANG. Also, a new mix tape titled Diamon Eclipse is being worked on by a company in Miami.
Meanwhile, as Blak Diamon gets ready to make a big bang in 2014, the artiste’s new EP is scheduled for release this year, and boasts six club bangers, with a whole new twist. It has the unbridled confidence needed to appeal to a universal audience.
