Etana to unveil new studio album in October

Etana I RiseAcclaimed Reggae songstress, Etana is set to drop her fourth studio album, I Rise on October 28.

The 14-track set is being distributed by VP Records and features singles such as How Long, Richest Girl and Jamaica Woman. It also features covers of Marcia Griffith’s Stepping Out of Babylon and Selassie in the Chapel by The Wailers.

I Rise also features production from the likes of revered producer, Clive Hunt, who has worked with the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Grace Jones and The Abyssinians, among others.

Fab Five band member, Astley ‘Grub’ Cooper shares songwriting credits on the album – penning Jamaica Girl – with the likes of Serita Lewis as well as Dwaine Campbell and Aeion Hoilette from the C Sharp band.

 I Rise will be available across all major digital music platforms.

 Etana will be promoting her new album in the United States next month, with stops in Florida and Atlanta on the docket.
