Reggae superstar, Jah Cure, and dancehall star, Aidonia, are set to feature at Reggae Sumfest 25, the silver anniversary edition of the show, scheduled for July 16-22 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay, St James.
Aidonia will perform on dancehall night, July 21, while Jah Cure, a Montego Bay native will perform on reggae night, July 22.
Sumfest and Downsound Records CEO, Joe Bogdanovich, warmly welcomed both additions to the show.
“Jah Cure is one of the best reggae artistes that Jamaica has produced and you can look at his music as proof of that. He has been a hit-making machine since he first started and continues to produce hit after hit today. Aidonia similarly has been a hit maker on the dancehall side and he is easily one of the top five dancehall artistes currently, with several hit songs and a strong presence. I am excited to see both on the festival.”
Aidonia joins a strong Dancehall Night lineup including, Alkalin, Mavado, Bounty Killer, Tory Lanez, Beenie Man, Spice, Tommy Lee Sparta, Masicka Devin Di Dakta, Tifa, Jahmiel, Ding Dong, Shenseea and many more.
Reggae Night features Sean Paul, Sizzla, Queen Ifrica, Christopher Martin, Dexta Daps, Richie Stephens & The Ska Nation Band, Kabaka Pyramid, Mad Cobra and more.
