Junior Reid to drop 17th studio album next week

Junior ReidVeteran Reggae crooner, Junior Reid will be releasing his 17th studio album, Junior Reid: The Living Legend on August 25.

The former member of the Grammy-winning band, Black Uhuru will host a release party for the compilation, his first studio album in over 10 years, at his Crescent Court guest house in St. Andrew. The 19-track album features singles such as Love You Back, Same Boat and Lonely Girl as well as collaboration with fellow reggae stars, Sizzla and Julian Marley.

Producers on the project include Lynford ‘Fatta’ Marshall and his son, Adoney Reid. The album includes a combination of roots-rock and pop sounds.

Reid is one of the most revered Reggae musicians around, releasing classics such as One Blood, Foreign Mind and more. He has also featured on hit international collaborations such as It’s Okay alongside The Game, the remix of This Is Why I’m Hot alongside MIMS and Cham and No One with Alicia Keys.
