Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor is preparing to release his new riddim album, “Old Fashion Riddim,” Tuesday, March 17, 2015 on iTunes, Amazon and eMusic. The album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes.
The “Old Fashion Riddim” – an energetic bass-groove made strictly for toasters – was produced by McGregor to re-introduce his deejay-friendly style of filling riddim albums with melodic, ebullient singles crafted to impact radio playlists, outdoor reggae jams and sound-system mixtapes with equal adroitness.
The seven-track album contains McGregor’s first recorded appearance with multi-Juno Award nominated reggae singer Exco Levi, along with tracks from Norway’s 2014 “Hit of the Year” winner Nico D, and New York-based reggae singer Ed Robinson, whose McGregor-produced “Tribute to John Holt” LP was named one of the “Best of 2014” by iTunes.
Also featured on “Old Fashion Riddim” is Gappy Ranks’ new hit UK single “Generation,” along with performances from reggae luminaries Million Stylez and Pressure.
