A stunner has been unleashed in the world of dancehall as multiple reports have confirmed that Munga Honourable has been charged with murder.
Law enforcement officials slapped him with the charge on Saturday in relation to the killing of a man at a dance in Ackee Walk, St. Andrew earlier this month. This after being taken into custody by the Hunt’s Bay Police.
He is expected to appear in court next week.
Police say the deceased in the matter, Cleveland Smith, was the man who attacked and chopped Munga during an incident in August 2015.
Munga was named a person of interest in Smith’s murder on May 23 and taken in for questioning. The Bad From Mi Bornsinger denied any involvement in the killing and was released without charge two days later.
The deejay, whose real name is Damian Rhoden, is also known for singles such as Flippin’ Rhymes and Prayer.
