‘We Are One’ says Archie

Though he comes from the small island of Antigua, Archie has big dreams. The multi-talented 27-year-old singer is doing his best to convert those dreams to reality with his brand new single, ‘We Are One.’

The promising dancehall/reggae musician with the comic book name is no joke when it comes to his craft and this very serious message about unity shows how capable he is. We Are One (One Caribbean) urges people of this vibrant region to come together in the face of the many struggles they have faced in recent times. Considering the damaging effects caused by natural disasters, the upturn in crime and other challenges facing the Caribbean right now, a song like this is needed to tap into the resilience of a typically strong region.

Produced by Lions Riddims, mixed by DER Studio and mastered by Donzi Simano, We Are One sees Archie peek into your conscience, asking ‘Am I my brother’s keeper, separated by waters deeper.’ In the end, when faced by pressure, we are One Caribbean, putting rivalries and petty disagreements aside for the sake of good.

With a pulsating bassline and strong instrumental play, combining elements of reggae and rock, We Are One is a thinking person’s song. ‘Take my hand, we can walk through together, if you fall, you can call me whenever, shelter under my umbrella.’ Think about sacrificing selfish desires for the greater good. That’s what ‘We Are One’ is about. Togetherness, love, and consideration to push through against all obstacles.

This thought-provoking anthem of unity will be available of various digital music outlets and is a sure hit in the making

Look out for more releases from Archie in the coming months, including the video for his recently-released single, Da Body Deh and much more.

It’s One Life, Only Love, One Caribbean. Let’s all join forces and rise up!
