Dancehall super star Mavado is not new to headlining events across the world. On Friday December 19th, 2014 Mavado will headline “DARKNESS” inside Amazura Nite Club, Queens N.Y. This will be Mavados’ first time performing in New York on his own band, ‘Gullyside Band’, and the first time rising dancehall artist Alkaline will perform in New York.
Set to be a memorable event for dancehall and for music, Mavado and Alkaline are both looking forward to this event.
“Performing with my band is something I look forward to sharing with my fans. My fans can expect not 30 minutes, not 45 minutes but full full performance from me backed by my band, the Gullyside band. Also we decided to bring with us one of the hottest artist in dancehall right now, Alkaline. The people want to see him, his fans are looking forward to his arrival in New York, so I say get your tickets early and come out early” says Mavado.
