Dancehall superstar, Adidja ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer and his three co-accused found guilty of the 2011 murder ofClive ‘Lizard’ Williams will have to wait another week for sentencing after it was postponed on Thursday.
Kartel, alongside his three co-accused, Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Kahira Jones and Andre ‘Mad Suss’ St. John arrived at the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston late Thursday morning, with Kartel wearing a black shirt and navy blue pants. They arrived to a much smaller crowd to the one that showed up on the day of Kartel’s conviction March 13th, despite claims that fans of the deejay were set to stage a major protestoutside the court, calling for a retrial. As the court assembled, he then went to court wearing a dark blue suit, blue shirt and tie, looking calm as he awaited his fate.
