Ukrainian-Canadian Auresia and Cuban Reggaeton star Gerald Thomas release their reggae single today, after working together for the first time. “Stay a Little Longer”speaks of passion and love, and wanting to hold onto that special & magical moment for just a little longer, a feeling many relate to. With a Reggae beat and Cuban heat this is a sure fire hit!
The track was recorded in Guantanamo, Cuba and mixed at Manicomio Studio inSantiago de Cuba by KiKi Pro, one of Cuba’s top producers (who has worked with Candyman, Pitbull, Chakal and El Micha). Written in Baracoa, they had the chance to perform it at the Carnival Baracoa the very next day, to thousands of adoring fans!

Singer, songwriter and musician Auresia, has been a mainstay in the World Music circuit for the past 10 years. As 2014 winner of the Reggae Xclusive Award for Top Singer, nominee for Favorite World Artist at the Annual Independent Music Awards & 4 awards at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards, she is just getting warmed up. Her roots vibe of Caribbean, Soul, Latin and Pop flavors engages her audiences to the last beat.
Following her five-time nominated self-titled debut in 2008, 2012’s EP ‘So in Love with You’, and 2013’s “Risin”,Auresia has just finished her 3rd album “Raices” (Roots) recording with some of Cuban’s top musicians, Mauricio Gutierrez of Havana d’Primera) & Afro Cuban infamous percussionist known as ‘Chaguito” . “Raices” is to be released in November internationally, look out for her first single and music video- “On The Road” in the next coming weeks.
In the past couple years she has toured Canada 2 times, recorded and performed in Cuba and Jamaica and will soon be touring the US. In such turbulent times, Auresia’s upbeat and uplifting songs are a music for the times. She has shared the stage with legends such as Shaggy, Kymani Marley, Sister Nancy, Tanya Stephens, Sugar Minott, Queen Ifrica, and Tony Rebel, and has gained much international respect in the music industry.

Gerald Thomas Collymore is a member of the group “Madera Limpia” (“Clean Wood”) a modern fusion of Reggaeton, Techno and traditional Cuban styles.
With 3 European tours in a total of 9 countries, he has shared the stage with Oscar de Leon and Alborosie amongst others (2009 Tilburg World Music Festival, Holland), “Los Orishas” (2009 Switzerland) and alongside “Van Van” ( 2002 Guadelejara, Mexico). He was also nominated for the Cuba Disco Awards in 2012 and is subject of the documentary “Paraiso” created by Romanian video director Alina Teodorescu.
Gerald is ready to take his music to the next level working on new music going in new directions, and has much planned for 2017.
