Dancehall/Reggae stalwart, I-Octane is set to unveil his upcoming EP, Next Chapter later this year, produced by famed hit maker, DJ Frass.
The six-track EP will feature largely conscious tracks, reminiscent of some of his biggest hits such as My Life and the tear-jerking tribute song, Lose a Friend.
Recently, the self-proclaimed ‘Hot Ras’ released the first single from Next Chapter entitled Prison Life, which see Octane delve into the realities of daily life behind bars as well as highlight the regrets of prisoners as they reflect on their crimes behind prison walls. The song has reportedly gained traction with disc jocks and radio stations across Jamaica.
I-Octane has previously dropped EPs such as My Life: The EP in 2011 and Crying To The Nation in 2012 as well as Rough Up Road, Rising To The Top and I-Octane: Special Edition.
Next Chapter will be available for purchase on iTunes as well as other major digital music outlets.
