Ikon D LinkDancehall artist, Ikon D Link says he is taking no chances after recently filing a police report in which he claims members of the camp of fellow deejay, Demarco have been threatening his life in relation to an incident at a party series last week.

After previously being in the news for threatening to commit suicide in August by jumping off ZIP 103 FM’s satellite tower in an attempt to get one of his songs played by ZJ Liquid on the station, Ikon now says he was forced to file a police report to the Half Way Tree police station after members of his road crew and Demarco’s entourage engaged in an altercation at Uptown Mondays where bottles were thrown and pushing and shoving occurred.

It was after this altercation that Ikon says he was approached by two of Demarco’s entourage members, who allegedly threatened to shoot him for ‘violating’ the artist.

“At All Star Thursdays later in the week, two man who mi know ah par wid Demarco block in my bike,” he told Loop Jamaica. “One of them pull out a gun and show me and say ‘watch wa yu a do cause oonu violate we Monday night’, then dem ride off. They made some mad circle, we de de a build little, and ah that gwaan, mad circling and tings.”

Additionally, the ‘Tower Man’ claims he was threatened two weeks prior to that incident. He urges Demarco to settle the issue man-to-man.

“Right now, mi fear fi me life cause ah badness dem a deal wid, and ah music mi a deal wid, understand me?” he told Loop. “If him waan approach me, him need fi approach mi himself. If him want a physical ting, mi wi thump him down. Mi no de pon no gun something with no man, ah music mi say.”

Demarco’s manager, Raymond ‘Shadow’ Small denied the allegations, telling Loop, “The allegation being purported by this aspiring talent is absolute rubbish, instead of conjuring mischief to gain attention, he needs to go and find something constructive to do with his time.”

Following Ikon’s stunt, Demarco dissed the young deejay in a freestyle, saying, “Di yute Ikon song lame, him climb pon Zip tower, wa him a go try next? FAME?”  before Ikon shot back with an Instagram video making fun of Demarco’s Puppy Tail single, suggesting girls do the dance move in his face.
