High-rising Jamaican singjay, Nesbeth has been dealt another tragic blow just three months after losing his wife to cancer as he announced on Wednesday that his younger sister has died.
The heartbroken singer broke the news via his official Instagram page, posting a picture of her with the caption, “It too much fi one man bare. Jah know my little sis drop short on the journey 😢 this morning….Many rivers to cross.#sleepinpeace #normalday #mom #wife #sis”
There was no mention of the cause of death.
In February, Nesbeth’s wife, Ann-Marie Elliot-Nesbeth died after a prolonged battle with cancer at a U.S. hospital. This took place months after his career really started to take off thanks to the high acclaim for his smash hit, My Dream. A few days later, Nesbeth cried on stage while performing a tribute to his wife at Jamaican Prime Minister, Andrew Holness‘ reception at Vale Royal.
Many fans and fellow artistes took to social media to pay their respects and offer their condolences to Nesbeth for his loss.
