TJ Records Drops Alter Ego Riddim

tjrecordsT.J. White of TJ Records slows down the pace for the summer with his latest release Alter Ego, a melodious smooth rhythm to ‘hold a meds’ to.

Known for rhythms as Unfinished Business with Billboard chart-topping songs So Special from Mavado and No Games from Serani, as well the Beauty and the Beast rhythm, Alter Ego is the follow up to White’s last effort Mood Swing with the popula song Sort Out from G-Whizz.

The rhythm was released last Wednesday and has six artistes touching on serious subject matters starting with the triple collaboration of Assassin, Christopher Martin and D Major with Real Friends.

Like its predecessors that also talk about envy and ‘bad mind’ in friendships, Real Friends should be a hit for listeners. While Bugle’s Pearly Gate takes another angle about friendship, as Bugle laments about fallen friends who will meet again in ‘all white’ where everything is all right.

A somewhat conscious artiste, Jah Vinci tackles love in Baby Girl I’m Alone, as he calls for his ‘baby girl’ to come back to him. The Jah Vinci track has a definite R&B feel to it as well as Raine Seville’s Too Late. Seville is the sole female on the rhythm and her Too Late is the female counteraction to Jah Vinc’s Baby Girl I’m Alone, as she tells him it’s too late for his pleading to return. G-Whizz’s Mama Don’t Worry is like the follow-up to Sort Out as he talks about better soon come and being able to lift his mother out of a poverty-ridden life. I Octane speaks to youths in Think A Little Time.

Thus far, White says the response to the rhythm has been doing good and expects it to rise farther, “it’s like the follow-up to Mood Swing so I expect the G-Whizz to do good, Raine Seville has a good song on it so too Bugle, the songs overall are good.
